Zapotec wool rug, 'Scarlet Shield' (2.5x5)

Surrounded by glowing diamonds, a fiery scarlet shield centers this design. Gregorio Ruiz weaves a bold and beautiful rug in the traditional Zapotec style, working in virgin wool tinted with natural dyes. Because each rug is individually woven on handlooms, measurements could vary +/- 5 cm.
