Zapotec wool rug, 'Forest Spirit' (1x3.5)

A narrow expanse of scarlet hosts medallions in forest green. Invoking the spirit of whispering trees, Gregorio Ruiz weaves an enchanting rug. He works with virgin wool on a traditional handloom. Titled "Trilogia de Diamantes" in Spanish. Because each rug is individually woven on handlooms, measurements could vary +/- 5 cm (2 in).
